✨ Forged in Light

"Forged in Light" is a three-part body of work exploring the journey through fracture, healing, and transformation.

The series was born from a deeply personal place. Inspired by watching my daughter navigate her path of healing after cancer, alongside my own journey of living with and healing from trauma. While rooted in personal experience, the work speaks to something universal: the quiet strength that emerges through adversity.

Each painting represents a distinct moment within that journey.

"Gold Fracture" reflects the moment of breaking, where pain, loss, or trauma leaves its mark, yet within the fracture lies the beginning of strength.

"Light Emerging" captures the stillness of healing, a quieter, more introspective space where light begins to return, and resilience is rebuilt in subtle, unseen ways.

"Duality Muse" represents transformation, the integration of all that has been endured, where strength and softness coexist, and a deeper, grounded presence takes form.

Together, these works form a narrative of resilience, not as something loud or forceful, but as something refined, enduring, and quietly powerful.

"Forged in Light" is ultimately a reflection of the human capacity to endure, to heal, and to emerge stronger, shaped, but not defined, by what we have lived through.
