The Awakening - Original Painting

The Awakening is one of my most personal works, inspired by my own journey through PTSD, recovery and finding my voice again after a difficult period in my life.
The roaring lion represents that moment when inner strength finally surfaces, the release that comes from knowing you have survived, grown stronger and can be heard again. For me, this painting is about resilience, reclaimed voice and the awakening that can come after adversity.
